Why Choose Peak for your WorkHealth Program

 

Peak Health Management has been endorsed as a service provider for the WorkHealth Program.

100% free with PEAK

Organisations with an annual remuneration of less than $10m will receive full reimbursement for the cost of the WorkHealth checks, meaning they are free.

 

Organisations with an annual remuneration of over $10m will be charged $30 for each WorkHealth check. WorkSafe will reimburse $30 towards the cost of each, meaning the ultimate there is NO COST to your organisation

 

• Appointment Booking System

PEAK will provide both online & hard copy appointment booking systems as part of the service. The online booking system is inclusive of email & sms appointment reminders

 

• Marketing Support

PEAK will provide marketing support to maximize the programs uptake as part of the service

 

• Complimentary subscription to online wellness magazine

Organisations securing the WorkHealth Checks with PEAK will receive a complimentary 3 month subscription for all their staff nationally to our online wellness magazine – Be Well

 

• Discount subscription rate to PEAK's Be Well Magazine - Hard Copy

Organisations securing the WorkHealth Checks with PEAK will receive a 10% discount subscription rate to our hard copy corporate wellness magazine – Be Well

What is WorkHealth & The WorkHealth Check

WorkHealth is a Victorian Government initiative committing to providing every Victorian employee with the opportunity to have a Health Check over the next 5 years. This will only be offered once to each organization for the program.

The Health Check includes:-
- 15-20 mins
- Self Assessment Questionnaire
- Blood Pressure
- Cholesterol (Total/HDL)
- Glucose
- Waist Measurement
- Type II Diabetes Risk Assessment
- Cardiovascular Disease Risk Assessment (over 45 years old)
- Information Sheets

- Consultation
- Company Statistical Report for orgnaisations providing 50 or more Health Checks

 

Who performs the Health Checks?

The WorkHealth Checks are performed by qualified Nurses with experience in the provision of onsite corporate health checks.

 

Our nurses are directly employed by the company.

Workplace Health Promotion Grants (Alternative to Health Checks)

Workplace health promotion grants are one-off funding opportunities for employers to build or expand programs that promote worker health and encourage healthy behaviours in the workplace.

PEAK Health Management can assist employers with their application for the grant and provide corporate wellness solutions that meet the grant guidelines.

 

Workplace grants are available to employers who have already offered health checks to the majority of workers in the last two years - as a foundation for ongoing workplace health promotion activities.

 

The WorkHealth program will fund workplace health promotion activities that:

Successful workplace health promotions programs are designed around the needs of workers and the goals of the business - so no two programs will be the same. To develop a program an employer may be guided by workforce needs or potentially informed by previous health checks which flag health risks.
